Troubleshooting: Resolution
---------------------------

In order for this program to work correctly, the resolution must be
set to "800 by 600".

------------------------------------------------------------------
*You can change this property by right-clicking on the desktop,
selecting "properties", and then clicking on "settings".

Troubleshooting: Screen-Saver errors
-------------------------------------

Shutting the computer down or pressing "crtl-alt-del" while the screen
saver is running may cause the screen saver to stop running.
If "Shape Shifter" or it's preview are not running properly,
try deleting the file "Shape-Shifter.tempfile" from the system
folder.

Note:

If you want the "Shape Shifter" settings to return to default,
delete "Shape-Shifter.settings"

SCREEN SCRAMBLER (INFO):
------------------------

This program will allow you to import any pictures you want into
the system folder "Screen Scrambler-pictures" and use them as puzzles
for the computer to solve in a screen saver. If you run the
program "Screen Scrambler.exe" (not the .scr file) and select the
right options, the program will automatically install each picture
and it's background colour into this folder whenever you edit a
picture. The program will also save a copy of the default background
colour in this directory. When pictures are put into the folder
without their own colour files, they will use the default background
colour. To change the background colours without running the other
program, do the following:

----------------------------------------
To Change a Picture's background colour:
----------------------------------------

Open the "Screen Scrambler-pictures" folder in this directory.
Open the file that has the picture name with ".colour" at the end of
it (such as "picture1.colour"). If there is no such file, then
create one. Delete all text in the file. Type in a number from 1-15
for the colour (use the data below). Then save and exit the document.
If the colour needs to be changed again, edit the document again.

----------------------------------------
to Change the Default background colour:
----------------------------------------

This process is exactly the same as changing a picture's background
colour, except that you edit the file "colour.dcolour" instead of
a picture's colour file.
